First edition, oblong folio, illustrated with eighteen of twenty chromolithographic plates, lacking the title page and two plates (numbers seven and fifteen); bound in the original gold stamped cloth boards, rebacked with new black calf, first few leaves with repairs to upper outer corners, moderate dust soiling, 14 1/2 x 17 1/2 in. Provenance: The Estate of David Spinney.
