Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock, Stephen Taber, case by Reuben Swift, New Bedford, c. 1807-12, the arched molded hood with pierced fretwork and three brass finials above the white-painted iron dial with moon's age, lettered "S.TABER," flanked by brass stop-fluted reeded columns, the waist door with inlaid tiger maple crossbanding and stringing flanked by brass stop-fluted quarter-columns on a conformingly inlaid base with panel and flaring French feet, refinished, ht. including finial 89 3/4 in.
