Elisha Taylor Baker (New York/Connecticut, 1827-1890) Sunrise, from Shore to Ship Signed "E. T. Baker" l.l., titled on a label affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 14 x 22 in., in a gilt-gesso frame. Condition: Relined, specks of inpainting in sky, the upper left area of the sky appears subtly different than the rest of the sky under ultraviolet light. Provenance: Godel & Co., New York, New York.
