Charmed Bottle and Ribbons. London: Joseph Bland, ca. 1880. A japanned toleware canister is opened and a quantity of sweets are distributed to the audience from inside. The lid is clamped on, then removed. Now the canister is full of silk. Repeated once again, the canister is now filled with a solid glass ginger beer bottle. Toleware canister 10 " high. Rare.
