Attributed to Pierce Rice (American (New York/ D. C.), 1916-2003). "Trail Ride", watercolor on paper, apparently unsigned. Loosely painted work depicts a tapir of riders on horseback in a line, the front most horse turned to left with its side in view. Stamped seal to verso of work "Estate of the Artist, Washington D.C., Pierce Rice, 1916-2003". Framed approximately 14.625" square, sheet size approximately 9.625" x 6.75", sight size approximately 5.5" square.
