A limited edition digital photograph featuring an alternate version of the album cover for The Beatles 1967 album Sgt . Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band . This alternate arrangement depicts Ringo Starr beside a tuba and Paul McCartney kneeling to the left of the bass drum. More significant is the inclusion of audience members who were later obscured or nixed from the final arrangement, including Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, and Bette Davis in costume for her role as Queen Elizabeth in The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex (Warner Bros., 1939). The image was given to EMI record executives in 1987 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album’s release. Numbered lower left in black ink "17/100." Stamped on verso “EMI Group.” 22 by 22 inches Categories: Beatles
