A group of eight vintage photographs of Roy Orbison with his first band, the Wink Westerners, later called the Teen Kings; a negative; and documents relating to the band. The earliest photographs are circa 1952, and the latest were taken in 1956. One image is a black and white publicity photograph of the band from Sun Records. A contemporary print has been made of the black and white negative and shows the Teen Kings on stage. Accompanied by two additional contemporary black and white photographs of the band. The documents include five unsigned copies of the Teen Kings Articles of Partnership and an assortment of receipts from the Teen Kings’ 1956 tour, including hotel and other expenses, some made out to the Teen Kings.
