A 1994 Pearl Masters Custom maple shell drum kit stage and studio played by Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Michael Cartellone. The kit features 8 x 8, 10 x 8 and 12 x 8 tom-toms with Pearl Optimount Suspension System brackets, with 16 x 18 and 18 x 18 floor toms and a 20 x 16 bass drum. The bass drum features a Lynyrd Skynyrd logo drumhead that has been signed by Cartellone in black marker. All of the drums feature Remo Weather King Ambassador Batter drumheads, with the toms featuring Pearl Masters Stainless Hoops. Also included with the kit is a crossbar drum rack that holds three of the toms and a set of floor tom legs for each floor tom. Also included with the kit are an additional 13 x 9 tom-tom and 14 x 14 tom-tom. There are no cymbals or cymbal stands included with the lot. Prior to joining Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cartellone used this drum kit on U.S. concert tours as the drummer for Ted Nugent from 1994 to 1997 as well as for a 1998 world tour with John Fogerty. After joining Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1999, Cartellone used this kit on the 1999/2000 Edge of Forever World Tour as well as in the studio for the recording of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 2000 album Christmas Time Again . Cartellone additionally used this kit for the recording of the 2007 album Second Hand Life by Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Deep Purple) and the recording of the 2009 album Jukebox In My Head by Joe Bouchard (formerly of Blue Oyster Cult).
