Continental, likely 19th century. A fine portrait of a young beauty on porcelain, the lady portrayed peering toward the viewer over her bare right shoulder and wearing a colorfully striped head scarf and golden chain headband, her face having large eyes and rosy cheeks over pursed lips. Portrait to a Rococo style carved giltwood and gesso table frame. Unsigned. Overall approximately 5.5" tall x 4" wide, portrait approximately 1.875" x 1.5".
