A pair of comic artwork items. The first is an original nine-panel Lone Ranger comic artwork by Charles Flanders and Paul S. Newman circa 1965. The black and white comic features the Lone Ranger, Fleet Spear, and a photographer who tries to photograph Fleet Spear despite Fleet Spear's objections. Housed in a frame, not examined outside of frame. The second is an original four-panel Blondie comic strip signed by Chic Young. The comic, from 1964, shows Dagwood talking to an injured mailman, who explains he injured himself because he is a “dancing fool,” with a partial note that reads “Frank – this was sent to you by a fan [missing] (a mutual friend of Jack Kirby)…thought you might enjoy it! [missing] Tom Horvitz.” Accompanied by two Mutts cartoons cut from newspapers. Largest, 22 1/4 by 28 1/2 inches, framed Categories: Frank Zappa
