Alfredo Volpi (Italy/Brazil, 1896 - 1988) mixed media depicting a composition of mosaics (one of his more familiar & famous themes) in bright hues of purple, green, light blue, & orange & titled "Cineticos/Mosaico", executed in 1970. Framed in a white frame with plexiglass front & signed verso "A. Volpi 70". Measures 19-1/2" in height framed with width of 25-1/4", & having sight image height of 17-5/8" with width of 23-1/2". Comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity & letter of provenance (see photographs). In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate. Further Provenance: comes from the estate of a prominent Texas collector, who purchased it directly from the artist, a personal family friend.
