Alfredo Volpi (Italy/Brazil, 1896 - 1988) unframed tempera on paper depicting a building facade (one of his more familiar & famous themes) in bright colors. Signed to lower right "A. Volpi" & measuring 16" in height with width of 20". Comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity & letter of provenance (see photographs). In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate. Further Provenance: comes from the estate of a prominent Texas collector, who purchased it directly from the artist, a personal family friend.
