Larry Edwardson (American, 1904–1995). Peaceful & serene coastal landscape unframed oil on masonite signed lower left "Edwardson" and titled verso with an approximate height of 12" and width of 36". In overall good condition with small chunk missing from lower right side (hideable with frame).Laurence Christie Edwardson was born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1904 and lived part of his life in Kensington, Connecticut. Much of his painting career was spent in New England and New Orleans, Louisiana. His work includes many Louisiana landscapes, portraits and religious subjects; and one of his modernist works is in the Historic New Orleans Collection.
