Made circa 1900. Very fine and rare, Quarter-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phase. Four-body, "bassine et filet", polished, the hinged and sprung front cover. White enamel with narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with leap-year indication, the date and the seconds, aperture for the moon phase with lunar calendar on the periphery. Blued steel spade hands. 19''', frosted gilt, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
