Very fine and extremely rare, large and heavy, painted on enamel and rose diamond-set,trip minute repeating, 18K yellow gold, keyless, hunting cased, two-train clockwatch with Grande and Petite Sonnerie striking,chronograph. Four-body, massive, "pomme et filets", by JW, (master marks), polished, the front cover with a fine painted on enamel portrait of a horse rider within a horse-shoe set with rose-cut diamonds spring loaded front cover, the back applied with a diamond-set monogram with the letters, protected hand-setting button, thief- proof swivel bow. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel by Willis, i radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. 20''', frosted gilt, 3/4-plate, 75 jewels, twotrain with differential winding beneath the dial, jewelled to the third wheel with screwed gold chatons, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature adjustment screws, double-over-coiled blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, index regulator, striking on gongs and repeating activated by a trip-slide on the band, Silent/Strike and Quarters/ Full Strike selection levers on the edge of the bezel.
