American School, third quarter 20th century. "City Walls"-1962, watercolor on artists board, signed lower right "Mark Baisder, 1962". Painting loosely depicting an alley beside an old stone building, possibly in Italy, with grey stone walls rising up in the foreground with a doorway to right flanked by a fluted column, two spires at top above the tall walls with arched forms to left and center, with two very loosely painted figures to foreground on street. Framed approximately , unframed approximately 19.875" x 12.625".
