Louise Berlianwsky Nevelson (American, 1899-1988) Female Figure Study Signed "Nevelson" l. l., dedicated "always best wishes to Yonny Segel" beneath the signature. Graphite on paper, 18 x 12 in. (45.7 x 30.4 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Minor toning to sheet. Provenance: Descended from Dr. Israel J. Rosefsky (American, 1936-2005), Binghamton, New York; to the current Massachusetts estate. N.B. Yonny Segel (American, b. 1912) is an artist and author of the book Drafting Made Simple , published by Doubleday in the early 1960s.
