Cranford" u.r., titled l.r., inscribed "K R Cranford" on the reverse, ink and whiting on paper; Constant Mayer (1832-1911), Two Girls Building Houses of Cards , signed "Constant Mayer" within the composition u.r., inscribed "Constant MAYER" in pencil u.r., ink on Bristol illustration board. Sizes to 14 x 10 1/8 in., all unframed. Condition: Hat with tears to right edge, handling creases, masking tape and glue stain from mounting, Toddler with small tear to left edge, possible mold spots, soiling, others with mild toning and soiling.
