Etruscan Revival 15kt Gold Demi-parure, c. 1880, comprising a necklace and earrings, the necklace designed as a fringe of lotus and palmette drops, the earrings with lotus drops, lg. 16 and 2 in., boxed. Note: Lots 133 through 229 are property from the Nancy and Gilbert Levine collection, donated to the Toledo Museum of Art and sold to benefit its future acquisitions. The collection formed the Museum of Arts and Sciences travelling exhibition "A Century of Jewelry & Gems: 1785-1885" which was accompanied by a published catalogue in 1995.
