Bronze Elephant, China, in a walking pose, with one of the ears in parallel to body and the other flapping in the air, its tusk raised to form a S-curve above the head and tail coiled at the right hind leg, the body textured with wrinkles of hide, polished details in brown to ears, trunk, and tusks, six-character mark to underside of belly, inscribed on one ear, ht. 14 1/8, wd. 19 1/2 in.
