Four Loose Woodblock Prints, Japan, early 19th century, three chuban tate-e , two of which by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1864) with one depicting a lady washing the book, from a series of Seven Komachi , publisher "Fukusendo" and one depicting a learned woman, from the series Honcho Meii onna Zukan (Picture Book of Various Women of Imperial Japan), publisher "Ryogoku Taihei han" and one of which by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861), ca. 1843-1844, signed "Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga," publisher "Muratetsu" (Murataya Tetsu), all chuban tate-e , to 9 3/8 x 7 1/4; and one oban tate-e by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1864), depicting the kabuki character Princess Yaegaki hime holding a helmet, accompanied by fox spirits, 13 1/4 x 9 1/4 in.
