$45,030
Important Southeastern Pennsylvania Queen Anne line and berry inlaid walnut chest of drawers, ca. 1740 , with two over three drawers supported by straight bracket feet, 39" h., 39" w. This chest is one of only a few that exhibit this decoration on their tops and is a rare survival of this desirable traditon, primarily from Chester and Delaware counties. A related example is illustrated in Worldly Goods , figure 191. This is an early example featuring a divided two-part case and bun feet, but the scrolling vines and tulip decoration is quite similar.
