William Kennedy (Massachusetts/Maryland, 1817-1871) Portrait of a Sister and Brother Wearing Blue Unsigned. Oil on canvas, the girl seated in a red upholstered chair, a riding crop in one hand, the other hand resting on the shoulder of her brother, who holds the string of the crop in one hand and a rosebud in the other, 22 x 27 in., in a giltwood frame. Condition: Relined, retouch especially to child in darker blue.
