Watercolor Birth and Baptismal Fraktur for Christina Boshor, attributed to York County, Pennsylvania, c. 1781, in red, green, and sepia ink with the girl's name, her parents' names, and her baptismal sponsors' names, surrounded by foliate bordering decorated with birds, and a winged angel bust at top center, 7 1/4 x 12 in., mounted in a period grain-painted frame. Provenance: Inherited by the heirs of Dr. John Meisenhelter of Berlin, Pennsylvania, and Mary Elizabeth Shirk of Hanover, Pennsylvania. Note: The attribution to York County came from June Lloyd of the York County Heritage Trust.
