Austrian and Bavarian, first half of 20th century. Well-matched twenty-seven piece porcelain dessert set from various makers including J & C, Thomas, and Moritz Zdekauer comprising of a tall lidded coffee pot, lidded sugar dish, creamer, 8 teacups and 10 saucers, and 6 dessert plates. Some items marked on bottom with green "Thomas Bavaria" mark, some others with additional "Freiberg" in gilt on bottom. Each with hand painted red poppy flower motif with light green leaves and gilt rims and handles. Diameter of dessert plate is approximately 7.6". Saucer diameter approximately 5.6". Teacup height approximately 2.25". Height of coffee or tea pot with lid approximately 8.7". Height of creamer approximately 3.5". Height of lidded sugar container approximately 4.2".
