19th century the serpentine front marble top above two doors enclosing a shelf, the front inlaid to show Chinese figures in a landscape, the sides with flower-filled vases, raised on cabriole legs ending in sabots. Height 34 1/2 x width 47 1/2 x depth 21 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. Eugene and Mrs. Vilhelmina Gedgaudas, North Oaks, Minnesota Provenance: Manheim Galleries, New Orleans, 1981 Good, sturdy, attractive condition. Marble top with numerous repaired breaks and scratches consistent with age; some roughness at back of marble. Tight veneer cracks throughout; age crack and a larger veneer loss at proper left side, several very small veneer losses throughout. Mounts with duller patina.
