French, late 19th to early 20th century. A petite or diminutive giltwood vitrine or display case comprising a molded marble top with canted corners over the display case with three beveled glass windows and conforming beveled glass door opening from below to the display interior with one glass shelf and two rows of display space, each exterior corner decorated with a canted fluted column, the tops of each leg decorated with flower garlands painted in shades of garnet, resting on four cabriole legs with patinated mounts comprising metal shell knees over bellflowers terminating in scrolled sabots. Approximate height 41.75", width 16", depth 16".
