20th century of baluster form having double-serpent handles, one side painted to show a cartouche depicting a courting couple and Cupid, the other side painted to show floral sprays, with allover applied flowers and raised on a circular foot. Height 20 inches. In overall good, stable condition. Some scattered chips to flowers. Having mark to base in under glaze blue. Examination under UV light did not reveal any condition issues.
