of handled ovoid form, with an oval cartouche painted to depict a lady and signed Wagner, the body having allover gilt foliate decoration and raised on a circular foot, bearing shield mark in underglaze blue and titled Summer to the underside. Height 20 inches. Property from a Private Collection, Mount Prospect, Illinois In overall good condition without cracks or repairs. One small chip to interior edge of one handle. Decoration and gilt bright, some minor rubbing to gilt. Examination under UV light did not reveal any condition issues. Additional images available upon request .
