Thomas Webb & Sons (English, 1837-1990), fourth quarter 19th century. A diamond quilt air-trap mother-of-pearl satin glass vase in double gourd form with factory finished bulb mouth over an undulating and vasiform neck shading from rose to light pink, the bulbous base decorated with leafy flowering blossoms in coralene on a circular foot. The underside foot with polished pontil and acid etched circular Thomas Webb & Sons hallmark. Approximate height 10.5", diameter of foot 3.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L.
