circa 1750 depicting Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor, raised on a socle molded with scrolls. Height 8 1/2 inches. Two others are also known to exist: one in the Fitzwilliam Museum of the University of Cambridge and a polychrome example (possibly later decorated) sold at Christie's London, 18 December 2006, lot 68. Bust in good condition without repairs. Chip to front proper left side. A firing crack is to the underside on one corner. Having shield mark.
