18th/19th century of typical form, the back decorated with vine motifs flanking a tower, raised on sledge feet. Height 39 inches. In decent, stable condition overall. Scattered, minor instances of loss to the inlaid decoration. The slatted support second from the front is broken. General looseness to the joints of the frame, as well as minor, tight age splits, consistent with age and use. In decent, stable condition. Having fairly even finish throughout with usual surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age and use. The second slat in the base with split at central joint. Decoration mostly intact.
