Provenance: Arnold Wiggins and Sons, Limited, London Sold: Sotheby's London, September 9, 1998, Lot 406 Slight yellowing to varnish; minor craquelure and abrasions along upper edge; otherwise appears in basic good condition; Under UV, strokes of retouch in upper left quadrant and along upper edge, largest is quarter sized; strokes of retouch in lower right corner, largest is a 2 x 1/8 inch diagonal stroke.
