Anthony Rehm (Montgomery and Bucks County, Pennsylvania, active 1804-1826) , vibrant Montgomery County, Pennsylvania watercolor and ink on paper birth certificate, 1821 for Durck Adams Groff, b. 1821, with profuse intricate decorations of a bird feeding her young, snake, face, tulip trees arising from checkerboard hearts, vines, and block and cross hatched borders, each decoration surrounded by pinpricks, signed lower right Anthony Rehm, March 20, 1824 , in wonderful untouched condition, 12 1/2" x 15 1/2", together with a photo, purportedly one of the Groff family.
