A two-page handwritten letter from Jack Lemmon to Jack Larson on Lemmon's personal stationery, dated June 7, 1993, offering his condolences to Larson for James Bridges' death. The letter begins "Just a note that I truly detest writing" and continues, in part, "[Of all the] great writers and directors, none meant more to me than Jim." Lemmon and Bridges worked together on The China Syndrome (Columbia, 1979).
