Two sterling silver dresser boxes comprising one English Art Nouveau period box by William Comyns (London, 1859-1953) dated 1907 of organic form with pierced scrolls to lid and repousse figural depiction of winged putti; the other by Gorham (American (Rhode Island), founded 1831) a round chased and repousse powder box with bands and fields of flowers surrounding central monogram to lid "Annie W. Cole, with sterling handled feather poof. Each box and poof fully hallmarked. Comyns box approximately 2.75" x 2.5" x 1". Gorham box approximately 3.75" diameter, 2.25" height. Total approximate weight 5.5 troy ounces.
