A carved wood dresser box in the Black Forest style comprising an ovular body raised on four scrolling feet and carved with foliate vines, the hinged lid with ornate carved figural scene with two birds resting on a branch, with tufted silk lined interior and key locking mechanism at front. Unmarked. Approximate height 7.5", width 8.5", depth 5.5".
