Paolo Soleri (Italian/American,1919-2013) for Cosanti Arcosanti (Yavapai County, Arizona, founded 1970). A contemporary Minds for HIstory special edition cast bronze and copper Brutalist style Cause Bell, having a single large bell suspended from a cast winged figure with a chime attached to his toe, a suspended cut triangular fin below, and verdi gris patina. Stamped with foundry mark. Approximate height 30", diameter 5".
