Scottish, late 18th century. A large, hand held bronze bell with a tapering form, composed of shaped bronze sheets, with soldered, dovetailed sides, with a low, conforming folded handle and a banded rim, decorated with an applied St. Cuthbert's cross. With a carved wood clapper. Approximate height 15.25", width 7.5", depth 5".
