Meriden Britannia Company (American, 1895-1898) and Consolidated Glass (American, 1893 - 1963), fourth quarter 19th century. Victorian pickle caster in frame with lid, and fork, and yellow glass insert in the "Cone" pattern by Consolidated Glass resting in a leafy mounted surround on a square base with canted sides decorated with birds flanking a bird bath amidst foliage and terminating on four ball feet. The underside of base hallmarked with early Meriden B. Company mark and design number "84". The forks marked "WM.A.ROGERSA1. PAT.APR17.06". Approximate height 10.75, base width 3.75", depth 3.75".
