Ion Tamaian (Romanian, contemporary), "Celestial Totem, Red with Silver", late 20th century. A large, squared matte glass sculpture, topped with an organic, blue partially frosted glass form, with applied blue glass lips, atop a red satin glass squared pedestal, with applied eyes and lips to two sides, a female figure to one, and a male figure to the other, each accented with applied satin clear glass forms and silvered metal, on a dark glass base. Etched signature, accompanied by certificate of authenticity. Approximate height 43.5", width 13.75", depth 6".
