A mahogany Queen Anne style side chair, the yoke shaped crest with central scroll and relief carved double shell motif terminating in cyma curved stiles with central pierced splat comprising carved scrolls and rosettes, carved diamond patterns, and pierced openwork terminating in a cavetto molded shoe over a balloon form seat upholstered in orange tweed fabric, resting on two front cabriole legs with cyma curved corners and intricate shell carved knees terminating in acanthus carved scroll feet with acanthus carvings continuing to back of feet, the raking back legs terminating in small pad feet. Approximate height 38.5", width 23.5", depth 17.25", seat to floor 19".
