Attributed to Giacomo Franchini and Pietro Bigaglia(Italian, 19th century), mid-19th century. Two Venetian miniature lampwork art glass scent bottles; both in flattened teardrop form; one multicolored with swirling shades of blue, reds, whites and gold aventurine; the other with robin's egg blue and white decorated with foil and silver aventurine. Both fitted with a patterned hinged brass top, the blue bottle inset with central faceted glass ruby jewel, the brass collars mounted with suspensory chains and with finger/chatelaine ring. Apparently neither bottle marked. Approximate height of multicolor bottle including chain 4.37". Approximate height of other bottle including chain4.25".
