Samuel Clarke (English, with patented designs for the fairy lamp 1857-1908), fourth quarter 19th century. Three-part fairy lamp including the ormolu mirrored plateau stand, with Webb Burmese glass shade fitted in the colorless Pyramid lamp cup with resting in an ormolu circulet and mounted onto a mirrored plateau with beveled edge terminating on three bun feet. Burmese reacts strongly to blacklight. Lamp cup is stamped "S. CLARKE FAIRY PYRAMID". Approximate overall height 5.75", diameter of ormolu stand 4.5".
