James Walker Tufts (American, 1835-1902), late 19th century. A Victorian quadruple plate and sapphire blue glass centerbowl in the "Daisy & Button" pattern and likely manufactured by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co (American, 1845-1891); the bowl with oval base set in the floral decorated framed with scrolled handles to each end. The bowl apparently unmarked. The silver holder hallmarked to the underside "JAMES W. TUFTS BOSTON WARRANTED QUADRUPLE PLATE 109". Approximate overall height 4.25". width15" (handle to handle), depth 8.5".
