Continental, first half 20th century. A neoclassical style gilt metal and glass chandelier, having a tapered form, with six scrolled arms to the top, draped with swagged glass beads, each with a rosette and drop, over a central shaped pressed glass over gilt metal shaft, with six draped beaded glass strands, with six scrolled and foliated gilt metal support arms, each terminating in a foliated candle cup, draped with two tiers of swagged glass beads, around a circle of glass prism drops, the bottom with a round glass ball. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 28.5", diameter 10".
