Continental, late 20th century. A French Empire style round dining table or hall table having black marble top with conforming veneered wood apron with molded edge surmounting a shaped pedestal support with three scrolled legs each accented with a giltwood rosette and acanthus leaf, the whole resting on a tripartite base and giltwood hairy paw feet. Underside of top with remnants of illegible maker's label. Approximate height 29", diameter 44". Provenance: From the private collection of Elaine Killeen, Atlanta, Georgia.
