Val Saint Lambert (Belgium, founded 1826), first quarter of 20th century. A set of eight (8) cobalt cut to clear crystal finger or dessert bowls with matching underplates in the "Beaudoin-Blue" pattern, all having a central acid etched band decorated with gold playful putti or cherub figures. Approximate height of bowls 2.37", diameter 4.5". Approximate diameter of underplates 6.25". Note: This early pattern was designed by the famous Leon Ledru (Paris, 1855-1926), who was the head designer of Val Saint Lambert from 1896 -1926.
