Palais Royal, circa 1860s. A charming French white opaline glass and gilt ormolu perfume scent vanity having a central tilting oval mirror in decorated and pierced surround with leafy supports. Two white opaline perfume or scent bottles with gilt metal hinged caps and inner stoppers are fitted into ornate, pierced ormolu holders and centered by a mother of pearl egg shaped dish resting in a leafy scrolling base mounted onto a oval marble base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 9", base width 6.37", depth 10.25".
