Val Saint Lambert (Belgium, founded 1826), first quarter 20th century. A set of eight (8) cobalt cut to clear crystal liquors or cordial glasses in the "Beaudoin-Blue" pattern having a central acid etched band decorated with gold playful putti or cherub figures raised on a faceted knob stem and rising circular foot. Approximate height 4.75". Note: This early pattern was designed by the famous Leon Ledru (Paris, 1855-1926), who was the head designer of Val Saint Lambert from 1896 -1926.
